Designed with an extra-long flat surface for the ultimate stirring and flipping capabilities. We call this around the studio "God's Spatula". Our beautiful and utilitarian extra long headed spatula is an exclusive collaboration with Libbie Summers and North Carolina Woodworker/Artist and all around wonderful human, Andrew McCarn of Carolina Grain Co. Andrew handcrafts each of "God's Spatula" from sustainably sourced North Carolina Black Walnut. The end product is a utilitarian work of art. Meant to last a lifetime.

EXTRA LARGE BLACK WALNUT COOKING SKIMMER/SLOTTED SPOON:
Each spatula is uniquely and individually made by hand. Your new utensil is unique to you as the grain differs with each piece resulting in no two pieces being exactly alike and we think that's extra special.
SIZE: 3" wide x 15" long
MATERIAL: Handcrafted from North Carolina Black Walnut and finished with mineral oil.

CARE:
1. Hand wash only using a damp cloth.
2. Do not allow utensil to soak in water.
3. Do not use in a microwave (and why do you own a microwave?).
4. Apply a mineral oil to the product as needed.
5. We want you to pass these utensils down to your grandchildren, so some extra care is needed. After some time of use, the utensil will develop a slight roughness. You may love this (we do), but others don't. If you are of the latter persuasion, lightly hand sand with a 220 grit sandpaper and move to a 320 grit sandpaper until desired smoothness of finish. Finish off with mineral oil.
