Terrible Cook, Fabulous Hostess

Mom didn't try to keep up with her fancy friends or, if truth be told, even her two toddlers. But, those same fancy friends said what she lacked in overall care for day to day getting by, she made up for in her table setting prowess. They knew, if invited to dinner, they would probably be eating pie made from a can. BUT they would be eating it surrounded by the most beautiful damn table setting and wiping the strawberry filling from their hands on the softest linen napkins.
